After the “Thank U, Next” singer was spotted in New York City with her ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez — looking mighty comfortable in thigh-high black boots, we might add — she made a proclamation on Twitter that she was not going to be dating anyone in 2019,

Whatever the new year is bringing for the pop singer, it’s certainly has to be better than 2018. 

Last spring, Grande split from long-term boyfriend Mac Miller and became engaged to Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson shortly after. It was during the ex couple’s short engagement that news broke about Miller’s suicide. A few weeks later, Grande and Davidson split up
