Paris Hilton is doing what she needs to do, even if that includes keeping her $2 million engagement ring from Chris Zylka, whom she split up with last month. 

“The person who we got it from got millions and millions of dollars of free publicity,” Paris said during an interview on Jenny McCarthy’s Sirius XM show this week. “I love how social media has basically become a new form of money. It’s pretty sick.”

When asked if she was going to keep the ring, Paris replied, “Yes. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”

Now that’s the Paris we all know and love.
