Lorne Michaels Wants Pete Davidson To Get Help

The world is concerned for Pete Davidson after the SNL actor posted a cryptic note on Instagram before deleting his account. But one person that’s especially worried is his boss, Lorne Michaels.

“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last,” Pete wrote last weekend, worrying his fanbase.

Apparently, Lorne Michaels (i.e. the head hancho at SNL) axed sketches with Pete Davidson right before the show, following his post.

A source told Page Six: “The decision was taken to give Pete a break on Saturday night – his sketches were dropped before the early evening rehearsals. Lorne has pledged to help all he can, including sending Pete to get help. Everyone on the cast is hugely protective of him and were obviously upset — particularly Colin Jost and Michael Che on ‘Weekend Update.’”

People are assuming that Pete is going to be back on the show after the New Year when it’s back on the air.
