Jenna Bush Hager Likely To Replace Kathie Lee Gifford on ‘Today’

According to Page Six, Kathie Lee Gifford’s seat on the Today show is likely to be filled by Jenna Bush Hager — the daughter of George W. Bush who’s become an audience favorite since joining NBC.

Kathie, 65, said on the air on Tuesday morning after announcing her departure from the show: “I know somebody wonderful will be sitting in this seat afterwards,” adding, “I have my idea who might be absolutely wonderful. But there’s a great pool of talent and beauty and heart right around here. And if they come from outside the family, they will soon become family because we treat everyone that way.”

NBC sources told Page Six that Jenna fits right in and has chemistry with Hoda Kotb, with one saying: “Jenna’s my hot bet to join Hoda.”

We’re all for this idea!
