Meryl Streep Is Going To Be A Grandma
Meryl Streep is about to play her best role yet: grandmother!
The three-time Oscar winner’s daughter, Mamie Gummer, is expecting her first child with fiancé Mehar Sethi, her people confirmed to Page Six. Mamie got engaged to Mehar in August, and was previously married to actor Benjamin Walker before the pair split in 2013.
The new baby will be Meryl’s first grandchild, although she’s played plenty of them on film and TV — including in the next season of HBO’s Big Little Lies. We can only imagine how she’s feeling.
