In anticipation of the release of his new film, Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns in theaters December 19, Lin-Manuel Miranda received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. And it was quite the party!

Not only was his speech so poignant (see below), but attendees were able to see the genius behind the Broadway smash Hamilton get teary while speaking of his life growing up in New York City and the journey it took to get to Hollywood.
