The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, shared a beautiful throwback photo celebrating Thanksgiving last year with her mom, Doria Ragland. It was only four days later that she flew back to London to publicly announce her engagement to Prince Harry. 

The photo comes from 2016, when Meghan revealed she cooked the perfect Thanksgiving turkey on her since-deleted Instagram. Now, we’re sure she has a team of cooks carving not one, not two, but many different turkeys. (She is a Duchess, after all.) 

“Oh, that time I roasted a pretty perfect Thanksgiving turkey! The question is, can I do it again? The pressure is on!” she teased in the old photo.
