In a new interview with People’s Sunday Today, Hugh Jackman revealed that while a Deadpool and Wolverine mashup wouldn’t work, we are to expect more from the X-Men character. 

“Oh, Wolverine will be back,” he said. “Someone’s going to buy him, I don’t know.”

He also spoke on Ryan Reynolds’s pushing to bring Wolvering into Deadpool: “He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shapes and forms,” Hugh explained. “I just said, ‘You know, I just don’t think the world really wants to see Deadpool with Wolverine.’ Maybe a cameo from Deadpool? I just think it runs over it for Deadpool.”
