Michelle Wolf Calls White House Correspondents Association ‘Cowards’
Comedian Michelle Wolf, who was famously criticized this year after roasting politicians during the White House Correspondents Dinner, has now called the WHCA “cowards.”
The slam comes after the WHCA announced that biographer Ron Chernow would be the featured speaker at next April’s dinner: “The @whca are cowards. The media is complicit. And I couldn’t be prouder,” she tweeted.
Most famously, Michelle received backlash for being too hard on Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “I actually really like Sarah,” Michelle said during her dinner speech. “I think she’s very resourceful. Like she burns facts, and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smoky eye. Like maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies.”
She went on to ask, “Like, what’s an Uncle Tom, but for white women who disappoint other white women? Oh, I know, Ann Coulter.”
