Demi Lovato is definitely making steps to weed out the bad influences in her life. Following her scary overdose in July, the singer has gotten a new phone — and recently asked friends (her true ones, rather) to direct message her. 

TMZ had previously reported that Demi would get a new phone number to stop drug dealers and enablers from having access to the singer. The website added that only her close inner circle would receive the new number.

But now millions of Instagram followers direct messaged her asking for her number!
