Ali Wentworth Insinuates That She Loves A Lot Of… Sex

This week, Ali Wentworth appeared at Audrey Gruss’ Hope for Depression luncheon at the Plaza in New York City. And she made a very real confession.

The comedian, who’s married to sexy George Stephanopoulos, referred to a recent poll in which the majority of respondents said they would rather give up sex than their phones.

“I was astounded,” she said. “It might be that you’re having bad sex. I don’t judge but . . . no phones in my house.”

She later joked, “My mother just says when you get depressed, close your eyes and think about Christmas. I called my mother up, and I said, ‘Is there any depression in our family?’ and she said, ‘Nope, nope, no depression, not at all.’ I said, ‘All four of my grandparents killed themselves — that’s depression’ . . . Meanwhile . . . my husband and I and our kids are on Zoloft and are all in therapy 24 hours a day because I am a big believer in it.”
