Who knows what Megyn Kelly must be feeling now since the former NBC anchor was supposed to be the face of the network’s political coverage — but instead she’s out after her blackface backlash. 

According to Page Six, sources said that execs had long planned to feature Megyn heavily in its midterm-election coverage on Tuesday, and even sent out a press release before the scandal broke announcing that she would front the broadcast alongside Lester Holt, Savannah Guthrie, and Chuck Todd.

That is, until Monday night when NBC put out a video ad spot that pulled Megyn from the lineup, showing only Lester, Samantha and Chuck at the desk for its The Vote: America’s Future special live broadcast.

What a way to go…
