Dwayne Johnson is hosting a new reality series called The Titan Games, which will spotlight everyday people from all walks of life gearing up to take part in “the most epic and insane athletic competition ever devised.”

The show brings in contestants who will endure grueling trials that ultimately lead to one woman and one man being crowned Titan champion. Sounds pretty epic, right? 

But the thing is, these folks are pushing their bodies to the limit and each contestant will go head-to-head with their opponents to conquer intricate physical and emotional demands never before seen on TV. Its host thinks it’s an incredible thing! (and so do we) 

“I want this show to redefine what an athletic competition can be,” he said in the debut trailer. “We are going to be the most inspiring show on TV.”

The 10-episode series is set to premiere on NBC in January 2019. Will you be watching?
