WATCH: Gladys Knight Honors Aretha Franklin At AMAs

Gladys Knight led a gorgeous gospel tribute for the late Aretha Franklin this week at the American Music Awards. The gospel diva opened the set with a rendition of “Amazing Grace” with light piano and organ.

Ledisi, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin and CeCe Winans joined in with songs like “Climbing Higher Mountains,” “Mary, Don’t You Weep” and “How I Got Over.”

Gladys also performed at Aretha’s funeral, singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Of course, the Queen of Soul died at age 76 last month in Detroit.

Record executive Clive Davis is reportedly planning an all-star Franklin tribute concert for November 14th at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.
