Kanye West, impulsively no doubt, decided to delete his Twitter and Instagram accounts this weekend. The rapper had previously gone off social media in May 2017, then came back in February only to delete it and reappear again in September… and already we have a headache just from typing that sentence.

He began tweeting again in April and was actively using Twitter until last weekend. Right now, it’s unclear why he deleted his accounts, though he recently created controversy after posting a series of pro-Trump posts.

“There’s so many times I talk to a white person and [they] say, ‘How could you like Trump, he’s racist?’ Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago,” he said to the audience of Saturday Night Live while wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.

He later received backlash when he tweeted the 13th Amendment, which “abolished slavery and involuntary servitude except as a punishment for crime,” should be repealed.

“This represents good and America becoming whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love,” he tweeted, along with the photo.
