Christina Aguilera Says She Was ‘Left Out’ During Infamous VMA Kiss With Madonna & Britney

Christina Aguilera isn’t above holding a grudge, especially when it comes to Madonna and Britney Spears. The diva opened up to Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, about the infamous VMA kiss seen round the world.
“It was weird,” she said. “And you know why they cut away for it? Because they cut away to get Justin [Timberlake’s] reaction.” Still, Justin and Britney weren’t dating at the time so she feels it was a “cheap shot.”
What people don’t realize is that Madonna kissed both of them, but the media only focused on Britney. “I definitely saw the newspaper the next day and it was like, ‘Oh, well, I guess I got left out of that,'” she said.
The idea of catching up with Britney (off camera) is on the table, though. “I think that’d be really fun after all these years,” she gushed.
