Amy Schumer Was Arrested In D.C. For Protesting Brett Kavanaugh

Amy Schumer joined protestors in D.C. to speak out against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. In several videos posted on social media, she’s overheard saying “Yes” when asked by police officers if she wanted to get arrested.
Amy was seen holding a “We believe Anita Hill” sign. Reporter Samanta-Jo Roth posted a video where women are chanting, “We won’t go back,” writing “Amy Schumer is among those being arrested here!”
“Hi Zola, I’m here with your mom, she loves you very much, I think we’re gonna get arrested and we’re so proud of you,” Amy is seen in a selfie video posted by a social media user.
