Bruce Dern Is Replacing Burt Reynolds in Quentin Tarantino’s Latest Film

Bruce Dern will be replacing the late Burt Reynolds in Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Burt recently died this month at 82.

Bruce will be playing George Spahn, a blind rancher who owned the property that Charles Manson and his followers were living on when they plotted the infamous murder of Sharon Tate and her friends. Sharon was more than eight months pregnant with her and director Roman Polanski’s child.

Unfortunately, Burt never had the opportunity to film scenes for the film, a source confirmed with People magazine. The star’s niece told the mag in a statement, “My uncle was looking forward to working with Quentin Tarantino, and the amazing cast that was assembled.”

We’re sure the newest addition will be equally as impressive.
