LeBron James Will Officially Star In ‘Space Jam 2’

Who isn’t getting nostalgic when they hear “Space Jam?” The movie was a total game-changer for young kids who loved a) cartoons, and b) basketball! Now a new legend is coming into the scene to reignite the magic.
MVP and future Lakers player LeBron James announced he’s going to produce and star in the new Space Jam 2 and it’ll be about so much more than basketball players teaming up with the Looney Tunes Tune Squad, like the original Michael Jordan-led film was.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, LeBron says the movie is “so much bigger. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams.”
The movie is set to come out in 2019 during NBA season.
