Heather Locklear Says Recovery Is The ‘Best Revenge’
It hasn’t been the best year for Heather Locklear, and now the actress is giving insight into her addiction and sobriety journey.
“Addiction is ferocious and will try to take you down,” she wrote on Instagram. “Recovery is the best revenge. Be kind to everyone you meet, your light just might change their path.”
The actress was arrested in February after an incident with her boyfriend, Chris Heisser. Then, Heather was arrested again in June when she was discovered drunk and arguing with others. During her arrest, she kicked an EMT worker. Shortly after her release from jail, she wound up in a nearby hospital for an alleged overdose.
Heather then checked into rehab for alcohol and mental health treatment.
