At This Very Moment, Sarah Paulson Is Directing Jessica Lange In ‘AHS’
Sarah Paulson didn’t attend the Emmy Awards after-party because she had to wake up early today to direct Jessica Lange in American Horror Story: Apocalypse. She spoke to PeopleTV last night on the carpet, explaining the dilemma of not being able to stay out late.
“I’ve got to be up at 6 in the morning to go to work,” she said. “I’m directing Jessica Lange at 6 in the morning, so that’s a reason to get up.” She said she wished she could party with the rest of the nominees. “It’s kind of lame. I’d like to go out and cut a rug, but I’ve got to be responsible.”
It’s not all bad, though. Sarah said she was excited to take a step back and watch the great Jessica Lange’s work: “To revel in the mastery that she has of her craft will be really exciting,” she added.
