Julie Chen Supposedly Exiting ‘The Talk’ After Husband’s Disgraceful Fall
Page Six is reporting that Julie Chen is allegedly choosing to sick by her man, ex-CBS CEO Les Moonves, and as a result is leaving her top place on The Talk.
“She is definitely leaving ‘The Talk’ and will 100 percent stay with Les,” an insider told Page Six. “When she’ll depart the show is unclear. It could be this week, or she could do it after ‘Big Brother,’ but she will be leaving. I wouldn’t be surprised if [CBS] asked her not to come back.”
A date for her exit hasn’t been set yet, the insider said, but sources say it will be in the next couple of weeks. After Les’s sexual harassment scandal broke from a piece in The New Yorker, Julie announced she would be “taking a few days off from ‘The Talk’ to be with my family.”
Les clearly didn’t attend the Emmys on Sunday. “He was asked not to come, so it’s unlikely either of them will attend. They’ve disinvited him,” a source said.
