Even though Amy Schumer previously said she was voting for Andrew Cuomo, the comedian took a turn last minute and voted for Cynthia Nixon. She posted her change-of-heart on Instagram. 

“We voted. And we voted for [Cynthia Nixon] couldn’t help it. And for [Zephyr Teachout] and [Jumaane Williams],” she wrote on Instagram, “voted with my heart thanks to the women who took their time to talk to me about it. When someone disagrees with you be patient and have a conversation. It’s most productive.”

Amy donated $10,000 to Nixon’s gubernatorial campaign but then said on Tuesday she was backing Cuomo instead, saying she didn’t believe Cynthia “would know what the heck to do.”
