Nicki Minaj Is Voting Andrew Cuomo For Governor
Nicki Minaj has spoken out about her support for Andrew Cuomo, only a day after his primary battle with fellow Democratic nominee Cynthia Nixon. The rapper tweeted that voters in NY State, especially those in New York City, should vote for him.
“New Yorkers & all NYCHA residents its time to get JUSTICE, VOTE Thur. Sept. 13 for Gov. Cuomo, Lt. Gov. Hochul & Tish James,” she tweeted. “They know how to work for the people to make NY even GREATER. Spread the word. See you at the Polls.”
Clearly the support of someone with 20 million voters matters. Andrew’s spokesperson, Lis Smith, said in response, “We’re thrilled to have the endorsement of the undisputed queen of hip-hop. As Nicki would say, Andrew Cuomo looks like yes, and Cynthia Nixon looks like no.”
