Olivia Newton-John Has Cancer For The Third Time
It was revealed that Olivia Newton-John is battling cancer for the third time, and has canceled appearances because of it. The cancer stems from a tumor at the base of her spine, according to Australia’s Sunday Night.
She still isn’t letting herself be sad: “No, I don’t go there. I’d be lying if I said I never go there,” she said. “There are moments. I’m human, so if I allow myself to go there, I could easily create that big fear. But my husband’s always there – he’s always there to support me, and I believe I will win over it, and that’s my goal.”
She’s been open about cutting sugar out of her diet entirely and using medical cannabis tinctures from plants that her husband, John Easterling, legally grows on their California property, to help with pain and sleep.
Her first stint at cancer was in 1992.
