Jennifer Hudson brought the house down at Aretha Franklin’s funeral singing “Amazing Grace.” With true grace, the diva took her time finding the melody and notes and feeling, but wasted no time finding J-E-S-U-S! 

The singer gave chills to everyone in the audience, and we’re sure Aretha would have been proud. Jennifer is set to play Aretha in an upcoming biopic filming next year, and Aretha personally handpicked her to play the part, according to Clive Davis. 

“She stops any and every show she’s in,” Clive said of Jennifer. “Her voice is truly incredible. When they ask, ‘Where’s the next Aretha? Where will the next Aretha come from?’ I say, ‘It’s her.'”
