Tom Cruise’s Latest ‘Top Gun’ Is Now Being Released In 2020

Holy Smokes! Tom Cruise’s latest Top Gun reboot has been pushed back to almost a year after its initial release date.

Paramount Pictures made the announcement on Wednesday that will be released on June 26, 2020 — instead of July 12, 2019. Producers say it will be set in a world of drone technology and will explore the end of the era of dogfighting.

Val Kilmer will reprise his role as Tom “Iceman” Kazansky in the sequel. Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Jay Ellis, Bashir Salahuddin, Danny Ramirez, and Monica Barbaro will also be in the film.
