A Miniseries About Michael Jackson Is In The Works, & It’s Quite Telling

Can you believe it would have been Michael Jackson’s 60th birthday? Well now a new miniseries is being produced for TV, and according to sources at Page Six, it’s seeking a director.

The project is an adaption of the 2011 novel “My Friend Michael: An Ordinary Friendship With an Extraordinary Man,” by Jackson pal and colleague Frank Cascio. One source said, “The series will focus on the 25-year relationship between Cascio and Jackson, and is expected to go into production this fall.”

Frank first met Michael when he was only 5 years old. In 2009, he told Good Morning America that Michael would visit his family often: “He would even help my mom vacuum the rug,” he said. “He would, like, help clean up the house. And he was just a real human being.”
