Matt Lauer’s Ex Wife Annette Roque Is Getting Up To $20 Million In Divorce

It’s a bitter sweet day for Annette Roque, the ex wife of Matt Lauer. The former model is getting up to $20 million in their divorce settlement, according to reports.

Friends say that he’s willing to give her anything she wants because he feels so guilty for cheating with multiple women at work. Apparently, they’re still getting along.

A source told Page Six, “Things really have settled down. Matt and Annette are getting on and they’re both spending time with their kids. They hope to settle the divorce very soon.”

In prior 2006 divorce papers, Annette cited “mental abuse, extreme mental and emotional distress, humiliation, torment and anxiety.” At the time, a source said that “Matt agreed to pay Annette a lump sum of millions back in 2006 as an incentive to stay with him to help him maintain his squeaky clean image as ‘America’s Dad.’”

Page Six reports that while Mat has spent the past nine months working on his relationship with his kids, friends say he is a “devoted dad,” and he still feels resentment about his sacking. “Matt still maintains the relationships he had in the workplace were consensual. He does feel like the poster boy of the #MeToo movement when he sees other high powered men hanging on to their jobs despite allegations,” a source said.
