Beyoncé Pays Tribute To Wavering Aretha Franklin At Detroit Concert

Aretha Franklin isn’t doing so good health wise, and according to family friends she’s ailing very quickly. That’s why Beyonce paid tribute to the Queen of Soul in Detroit this week during her concert with husband Jay-Z.

DJ Khaled got the crowd excited when he played one of Franklin’s biggest hits, “Respect.” The Detroit Free Press reports the tribute happened early in the show Monday night at Ford Field. Beyonce said, “We love you” and thanked the 76-year-old for her “beautiful music.”
