Tamron Hall presented at the SheKnows Media #Blogher18 Creators Summit, hours after news broke of her development deal at Investigation Discovery.

She has been working with Investigation Discovery but has otherwise kept a pretty low profile since Megyn Kelly took over the 9 am hour of the Today show. “I’ve been home on my sofa for 18 months — I need this! I am so happy to be here with you wonderful women today,” she said of being at the event.

She added, “If your journey does not include building up another woman, then find another room,” when talking about instilling confidence in other women. “We need you, I need you, our girls need us. I’m in my feelings,” she concluded. “I am here for a reason on this day in my life.”
