Constance Wu is taking the title of her new movie very seriously! The beloved TV star wore 200,00 Swarovski crystals to the premiere of Crazy Rich Asians — and she looked phenomenal.

Ralph & Russo, the same label that designed Meghan Markle’s $75,000 engagement photoshoot dress, designed Constance’s dress, which took a total of 275 hours to construct and 490 hours to hand-embroider, according to Vogue.

“In history, tassels have almost always been a symbol of power and prestige, not to mention they make for a glamorous detail,” her stylist Micaela Erlanger told Vogue. “This movie is so important for so many reasons, and I felt that Constance should look both powerful and glamorous.”

The film is the first Hollywood release in 20 years to feature a predominantly Asian cast. History is being made, y’all! But also… that dress hunty.
