Rosie O’Donnell Protests Trump at White House

Rosie O’Donnell joined dozens of Broadway performers in D.C. this week outside the White House to protest Trump.

“Let the president know, in no uncertain terms, that we are alive, awake and we are woke,” O’Donnell said as she greeted the crowd, which were upset that the president has met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Seth Rudetsky and his playwright husband James Wesley, actor Richard Kind and current and former cast members from the musicals Wicked, Hamilton, Beautiful, Phantom of the Opera and more, joined Rosie.

“I will not have a solo because I’m not very good at singing. But we have a bunch of songs ready,” she said. “And we hope to give you a nice little show and remind you that your voice is important, whether it’s here in Washington, DC, or in the town where you live, let your voice be heard.”
