When news of Demi Lovato’s overdose reached the media, word on the street is that Britney Spears’s team took no chances. They’ve banned all booze on the tour, sources told Page Six.

“Britney’s team set strict guidelines that no alcohol at all could be served backstage, because they want to keep it away from her, and also many of her dancers are underage,” said a source. “Apparently this is the policy throughout her tour.”

Her team ensured “no shady characters get anywhere near her,” reported column Straight Shuter.

Last year, someone said of the performer: “She’s in a Britney bubble. She’s healthy; she just celebrated another year of sobriety.”
