Meghan Markle’s Dad Says She’s Unhappy At The Palace
According to Meghan Markle’s dad, the new royal isn’t too happy being the center of attention.
“I think she is terrified,” Thomas Markle told The Sun. “I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile. I’ve seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now. This is a pained smile.”
Just this week, she told a fan that she misses being an actress and playing Rachel Zane in Suits.
“It really worries me. I think she’s under too much pressure,” Thomas added. “There’s a high price to pay to be married to that family.”
He also spoke that he’s being ostracized by the royal family due to his staged photo scandal: “I think Meghan is in deeper than I am,” he said. “I’m not blaming Harry or anyone else but they are following rules that don’t make sense to me. They are no less human than anybody else. God knows, I feel sorry for them, for not being able to show emotion.”
