According to Variety, Lady Bird director Greta Gerwig — as well as its stars, Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet — are in talks to adapt the literary classic Little Women for the big screen. And it gets better:
Meryl Streep and Emma Stone are also in talks to star!
Greta was announced previously to write the script, but now she’s also taking over as director. After her first film, Lady Bird, was nominated for five Oscars, let’s just say she’s not doing terrible in the movie career department! Go Greta.
