It’s a funny world when two rich people are arguing how to tip — but it’s the world we live in!

Sarah Jessica Parker and Reverend Al Sharpton had a disagreement about tipping. The actress supported the movement to do away with tipping in restaurants, but Rev. Sharpton’s group opposes the elimination of tipping.

“It will be devastating for communities of color, where neighborhood restaurants provide good jobs to a lot of good people, and they make much more than $15 an hour typically,” said Rev. Kirsten John Foy, who is bringing a dozen Harlem restaurant owners and servers to National Action Network.

As Page Six reports, Sara Jessica, Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman and more than a dozen other A-listers sent a letter to Gov. Andrew Cuomo in March calling for restaurant workers to get paid the regular minimum wage, without credit for money earned from tips.
