Nico Tortorella Was Heckled By Homophobic Protestor In Robot Costume
During the “Breaking Down the Binary” panel at the ATX Television Festival, a guy dressed in a low-budget robot costume interrupted what was supposed to be a conversation about inclusion in the industry.
“You look like a queer,” he told Nico Tortorella (who was there with “Take My Wife” creators/stars Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher and “The Bold Type” star Aisha Dee).
He lobbed a couple of more insults at people who were trying to get him to leave. The situation was rightfully handled and the man was escorted out to a round of applause. And someone got it on video:
So this happened at the Breaking Down the Binary panel at #ATXTVs7. He was thrown out like the trash he is. pic.twitter.com/PQ1y6t1LIv
