This weekend, Janet Jackson called the police over concern of her son’s safety. One-year-old Elissa was with his dad, Janety’s ex husband Wissam Al Mana.

According to Entertainment Tonight, a watch commander with the Malibu County Sheriff’s Office says that police responded to a call shortly before 10 p.m. at the Nobu Hotel. Randy Jackson, Janet’s brother, told ET that she called 9-1-1 after being contacted by a nanny who was helping Wissam care for the child at the time.

According to Randy, the nanny became frightened by Wissam’s behavior which she believed was aggressive: The nanny was “terrified by his behavior and locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet.”

No further has been collected at this time, but Wissam was contacted for comment.
