LEGIT: Bill Cosby’s Lawyer Fell Asleep During Testimony, Jurors Call It Quits
Reports are saying that Bill Cosby’s lead lawyer was sleeping in his chair as jurors were listening to the judge read back prior testimony. And we mean full on sleep — mouth open and everything!
Tom Mesereau drifted in and out of consciousness as Judge Steven O’Neill read pages of Bill’s own words about Quaaludes and his sexual contact with accuser Andrea Constand into the record. Apparently he was gone for nearly 30 minutes, and woke up as the testimony was being read. No one appeared to comment on it, though.
Jurors eventually called it quits for the night with no verdict, wrapping up their first day of deliberations.
