Guess What Barbara Bush’s ‘Most Prized Possession’ Was

After Barbara Bush was in awe of painted cow statues around Houston in 2011, her husband George H.W. Bush decided to surprise her with one — a blank one.

“Mrs. Bush turned it into a family art project,” longtime chief of staff Jean Becker said. A source told People magazine that the couple’s rascally eldest child, former president George W. Bush, placed his handprint square on the cow’s backside.

The cow is still on the lawn of the Bush’ Walker’s Point compound in Maine.
