Renowned Publisher Judith Regan Backed Up Janice Dickinson’s Cosby Allegations

Publisher Judith Regan took the stand in the Bill Cosby trial and told jurors that Janice Dickinson had disclosed to her she’d been “drugged and raped” by him, which was intentionally kept out of the supermodels memoir for legal reasons, which is essentially exactly what Janice had testified.

“I don’t remember verbatim, but I remember at one point during the preparation of the book, [Janice] told me she had been raped, drugged and raped, by Bill Cosby,” Judith said. As a result, Janice was furious the legal department barred her from detailing the alleged 1982 sex assault.

“That story would be impossible to publish. It would require corroboration, and at that time corroboration would have meant a witness,” Judith said under questioning. “In this particular incident, the legal department, not Janice Dickinson, decided it could not be accommodated.
