20/20’s Elizabeth Vargas Moves To A&E Network

After nearly 14 years of anchoring ABC’s 20/20, Elizabeth Vargas is moving to the A&E Network to produce a series of investigative documentaries, according to Page Six. Her first project is an in-depth discussion with the parents of accused child killer Casey Anthony in the home where their granddaughter, Caylee, disappeared.

Page Six reports the film reveals “the intimate and heart-breaking details of their lives a decade after everything went wrong. Along the way George and Cindy [Anthony] revisit locations that have come to define their lives, from the woods where Caylee’s remains were found, to the hotel where George almost ended it all.”

Elizabeth will be replaced by by “Good Morning America’s” Amy Robach.
