Rebel Wilson recently won $3.6 million from a magazine publisher who’d posted articles claiming she lied about her age, the origin of her first name and her upbringing in Sydney.

Bauer Media, which publishes Australian magazines Woman’s Day, Australian Women’s Weekly, NW and OK, argued that the largest defamation payout in Australia legal history awarded against the German company in September was “manifestly excessive.” Now they’re appealing the decision.

Rebel is back in court this week in Melbourne to fight, again. Hopefully everything goes the right direction.
