Wanna Buy Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers? Now You Can!

For a low $6 million, you can buy Doroty’s ruby red slippers. The pair of iconic shoes are no up for sale through Moments In Time dealer Gary Zimet, who called them the “holy grail of movie memorabilia.”

This pair for sale were for MGM’s promotional purposes, and were once owned by a Tennessee teen who won them as second prize in a “name the best movies of 1939” contest.

A number of pairs, used as props for the film, have been known to exist, reports Page Six. One’s at the National Museum of American History, while another was owned by Debbie Reynolds.
