Trump congratulated Eddie Scarry, the author of Fraud and Fiction, which is basically a rebuttal to Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury book that put into question many things about the Trump administration.

“That book was a total fraud . . . It was a disgrace. It was really disgraceful,” Eddie writes in his book about Fire and Fury.

While Michael said he spent three hours interviewing Trump, Trump himself said “He never met me. He called . . . I said, I don’t want to meet with him. I said I didn’t think it was appropriate. He was never in the Oval Office.”

Eddie said, “Watching [Wolff’s] anti-Trump book blaze around the world, selling millions of copies, based largely on a bunch of lies will go down in history as one of the weirdest things that ever happened in presidential politics.”

Eddie also said he ended a phone call with Trump with the president saying his book “decimates the crap out of” Fire and Fury.
