Meghan Markle’s First Marriage Ended Out Of The Blue, Says Researchers
Andrew Morton, who was also Princess Diana’s biographer, has written a new book about the future royal Meghan Markle called Meghan, A Hollywood Princess.
In it, he reveals new details about her relationship with Hollywood producer Trevor Engelson, who she was married to in 2011. The two met at a dive bar while she was getting her start in acting.
After the wedding, she flew back to Canada. Andrew writes in The Sunday Times excerpt that it wasn’t long before “cracks began to appear in their marriage.” By the summer of 2013, they were divorced.
The divorce was “totally out of the blue” for Trevor, according to David. “Trevor went from cherishing Meghan to, as one friend observed, ‘feeling like he was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe.’”
