Arnold Schwarzenegger is recovering well after his heart surgery.

According to an email his spokesperson sent to Page Six, he “continues to be doing very well, in good spirits, and recovering.”

The surgery was to replace a valve on Thursday. The pulmonic valve originally was installed in 1997 for a congenital heart defect and had to be replaced.

According to his spokespeople, when Arnold woke from surgery he said: “I’m back.”
