It’s Official: ‘Black Panther’ Is The Highest-Grossing Superhero Movie In History
Black Panther has just become the top-grossing superhero movie of all time in the United States, dethroning The Avengers.
Black Panther is one of just seven films to ever earn $600 million or more domestically. According to Billboard, Black Panther will rank third worldwide for comic book adaptations, just behind The Avengers and The Avengers: Age of Ultron, which earned $1.5 billion and $1.4 billion, respectively. Black Panther has currently pulled in $1.2 billion worldwide.
