Bob Mackie and Cher have been longtime collaborators, including for the infamous 1986 Oscars dress. Now, he’s joining her team to bring to life her story on Broadway’s The Cher Show.

The design team of The Cher Show joins the previously announced creative team: book writer Rick Elice (“Jersey Boys”), director Jason Moore (“Avenue Q”), choreographer Christopher Gattelli (“Newsies”), and orchestrator, arranger and music supervisor Daryl Waters (“Memphis”).

The show will be premiering in fall 2018, with a pre-Broadway run at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre.
